Diamond Backs on original rim?

Has anyone put the 215/70R16 Diamond Back radial on original 16x4.5 rims? I can not wait for the new Auburn. They told me yesterday it will be September.

FWIW, I have their 225/75R16's on my '40, with no problems.

I have Diamond Backs on the wire rims of my '35 and I run them tubeless with balancing beads instead of weights......Only 300 miles, but so far so good....Matt in Alameda

Seems like the Diamondbacks on my 39 wide 5s are 185R75/16s. Probably a 4" rim. Tubeless. Works and drives well.

I have the 215-70 r-16 on my forty, they look and ride great.
