Does anyone know of a good product for detailing cylinder head and other engine nuts? Product should remove light surface rust, clean and shine, and not harm engine paint. Thanks in advance.

Well since you already have lite surface rust [NO] . I have collected 3 full sets of orginial head nuts and 2 sets of repro's. Had them all Cad. plated and change them when needed. I put a small amount of wd40 on them to stop any rust from starting..So i don't know if yours are orginial or repro? What ever the case is buy another set of repro's or collect another set of Orginial's and have them all Cad. Plate...The repro nuts seen to have some kind of cheap cad .on them that's why i have a good plater replate them.

I use these nut covers, however they may not be pruist approved:)

Dremel makes a small wheel abrasive a course and a fine. They are the dimension of a nickel and they are great for light removal of fine rust.
