Desparate Help Needed!

[Ricks56]

Does anyone know where I can get a front band for a medium case Fordomatic transmission? Mine is bad in my '56 Fairlane and my rebuilder does not have a source for one. I know they are out of production but relined ones may still be around?

Thanks!

Rick

Try this guy, he does list the front band:

[Bleach]

I'd find another rebuilder. A good rebuilder should be able to find one.

You might try Job Lot in New York

Another source - these guys specialize in older transmissions

Thanks for the ideas! I went with this guy: http://www.autotran.us/index.html

Dave was very helpful and his prices are good.
