Depression Era Model A

A friend of mine sent me these pictures of a Model A in Illinois.
This car probably gets more looks than a fine point restored car.

I've seen a few Model T Fords done up the same way, good to see people having fun with their cars. Its a quick history lesson for young people, telling them that Americans drove cars that looked just like that from the Dust Bowl to the West Coast. Happy 4th of July!

Thanks for the pictures. It's nice to see fully restored cars but during the 30's I'm sure that there were very many of these "utility vehicles" in one form or another. What a nice time capsule.

It looks like the rear wheels are bolted on backwards so the tires are outside of the fenders. Can anybody tell me why?

Neat car.

I think I see another rim and set of spokes behind the outside wheel in photo #3--it's a duallie.
