Deluxe Phaeton color question(s)

my first Model A in purchased in 1986 was an early '30 Tudor.
paint was stone brown/stone deep gray.
incorrect for that car, but it looked great.....

I like washing blue, but my wife liked stone brown/gray. I just finished a seven year restoration on my 180-A and love the stonebrown/gray/tacoma combination.

Sounds like you guys married the wrong wives.


Back in the 60s Foulger Ford raced a Mustang with a woman driver. I guess she couldn't decide on a color.......

Hello, as far as the top material goes, only one color was an available, tan , with a greenish cast . I believe it is available from Classique .This material was used on the Deluxe Roadster also.Ford really cut back on color options in 1931 ,only 4 available on roadsters, Stone brown, Brewster Green, Washington Blue,and Black.
