Does anyone have some insight on these markings. Discovered them as I started to clean firewall. The fender tag I noticed awhile back .

MTFlat is your best bet for decoding those firewall markings.
What I can see looks good.

Thanks for the reply. This has been a long haul to get this truck on the road. Engine will be assembled later this month and hopefully to paint by end of may.

I have some numbers in the center on my panel also. I have wanted to know what they are since day one. No luck yet.

The KC in the right front corner of the firewall could be the Kansas City assemble plant. Just a guess.

Anybody know what these numbers mean? My cab (40-41 cab on a 42) has numbers in the same place on the upper part of the firewall. Another thing, when I stripped the dash back to bare metal, it had The name Robby written in capitals, appeared to be done with a centre punch, sort of join the dots. This was on the part twix the steering column mount and the gauge cluster hole. Anybody else come across this?
Martin.

Mine has 9C261 stamped on the top of the firewall under the driver's side stiffener bulge. No KC on mine though.

The stamping on mine is. I3448 OR 13448. Same place as your first picture.
The cab on mine was off a bigger truck I think, as it had the petrol tank under the seat, with filler behind passenger door.
Martin.
