Deck lid interchangeable?

Do the rear deck from a 29 interchange with a 30/31?

Not in the latch area if using a rumble. 30/31 latches to the rain gutter; 28/29 yo the panel above the gutter. Lids are diff in that area. The exterior dimensions are the same

Hello, my 31 had a 1928-9 deck lid , it fit , but as mentioned in previous post, the handle is more forward on lid than the 30-31 and latch is on the body instead of on rain gutter, on 30-31 .Black lid is 30-31.

Hello again,,if I remember Service Bulletin correctly, the rumble lid lock was relocated because, if in lock position, the lock tang would hit and bend the upper deck lid . On 30-31 the lid would just hit the latch or inner rain gutter. This would happen if handle was placed back into lock position with deck lid open, then try to close it.
