Deck lid handle base

How do you remove the deck lid handle base casting from the trunk lid of a 47 Ford. I've removed the large nut and the small nut at the top. It won't budge. Thanks Harvs
 
As I recall the base is held on with two bolts(studs with nuts) that are offset from each other. Keep looking for the one on the bottom.
 
If you have removed the large nut around the handle mechanism and the small nut above that you've got them all. Lightly tap on the bolt of the small nut and you'll break it loose.
