These are rare aftermarket / dealer accessory Model A side mounts. They came off a 1929 Ford Model A that I have from Uruguay. I have two, one for each side.
The bracket bolts to the cowl, and one end of the rod bolts into the fender. The wing nut tightens down the clamp on the tire.
These are a really neat piece, and would set off a unique Model A. The wingnuts and clamp should be re-chromed, or can be run as-is for a survivor look.
The threaded rod is very simple, and could be re-created by you. I could omit the threaded rod to ship in a smaller box if desired.
