Has anyone heard from Dave of modelaonly? I ordered something and have been trying to get a hold of him. I have tried the phone number on his site and the email address with no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated

I can relay to you that I and a friend are both very happy with the 4 sp. overdrive trannys we purchased from Dave. However, communication and timeliness are NOT his forte' Nuff said. Good luck!
 
Put me on the list to hear from Dave. I also ordered something (the 4spd od ****** that Pick mentioned) only to be held hostage since my PU was torn down (at his suggestion, mind you) waiting for the ****** that was to arrive shortly. Right now I have to pretty much assume that either he died, or is off on another long term fishing guide trip. On the flip side, I am very happy with the alternator and Weber carb kits I got from him.
 
Dave makes a great 4 speed kit,but as mentioned ,allow extra time . Sometimes you have to make several tries at contacting him. Besides having the 4speed ,I got a great battery box-master cylinder from him about 4 months ago.
 
I asked who had weber carb manifold only. He replied he had a stack of them ready to go. I sent him the money and he replied he send out the next day. I guess next day never got here. Now he's got my money and I still have no manifold. Not Happy.
 
Another week has passed, still no Dave -- His voicemail box is full & not accepting messages. Truck is going on the road next week -- with or without the new ******!
 
Finally got in touch -- with Dave Jr.
Dave has been quite sick and Dave Jr. is just now starting to pick up the pieces and get in touch with his customers that are expecting things. Promissed to get back with me early next week with some positive information.

I just knew something had to be wrong.
