Dash lights on a 55

Does the 55 Club Sedan have a dash light for to show the PDNR switch? I see a oblong can like thing with a hole in it for what looks like a light. When I shine a bright light in there, though it doesn't like up the area. Thanks Jon.
 
a correction in the wording. The gear shift indicator area of the dash is what I'm talking about. Does this light up like the rest of the dash?
 
Yes. the cover with the hole is made to focus the light through that hole just enough to light it up.
 
If your 55 originally came with a automatic there should be a extra socket floating around under the dash,if its not there just find a socket that will fit the hole and tap into a dash light wire and you are done. I accidently knocked mine out and since its not grounded the bulb will not light up so you wont see a light under the dash when the lights are on.
