I need the center that holds the knurled knob to the clock adjustment rod for a through the dash clock in a 41 ford. I have every other screw I took out of this thing......just not this one.
It looks to be a barrel screw. about 1/4" or so wide with a slotted screw head. Best I can tell it threads over the winder mechanism after the knob slips over. This allows you to pull out the knob to adjust time.
I can't even find an image of a through dash knob set up. I have a spare parts clock, but the knob is rotted off.
My '47 electric clock was missing the long extension and knurled knob. Sent it to "Clock Works" and they fixed it all, replaced insulators, tuned it up, and also converted it to 12 volt to match my system. Very professional and prompt operation.
