Hey folks, I got a call from the fella that let me paint my Tudor at his shop today. He said that he was in need of help disassembling another Model A just like mine for a customer. He said that some guy drove by last year while my Tudor was sitting out front getting the final wash and decided that he wanted Shawn (my painter friend) to do the same thing to his... Well I showed up after work today to look it over and it was not an A model at all. It is a 1927 Chevrolet AA Capital. This thing is in awesome shape. The paint is great, the interior is great, the motor needs to be cleaned up. I was looking this thing over and everything on it looked to be perfect. He said the guy wants it repainted and forked over cash ( not sure how much) upfront for the job. Shawn said the guy saw one just like it last year here and was very impressed with the way it looked!!!! That was my paint job!! anyway I figure I would do Shawn a favor since he charged me nothing to have my car there for 8 months and paint it. Seeing this compared to a ford is different but the same in ways. Anyway sorry for dropping the C-word here I just thought it was very neat to see and now work on.
