I have also taken chome plated acorn lug nuts and trimmed the cone off the bottom and used them. They come 20 in a set for about $15

jumping in late here, my thoughts

good luck getting those original studs out with the head on ( unless they have just recently been changed). Any one that i have done they are stuck so bad you won't get them out. and if you do happen to wreck or break a stud then the head has to come off.
if the engine is running well. just leave them alone.
good idea to put the fancy nut covers on and walk away.
