CWC Cams ???

Hello Guys, Haven't been in here for a long time.
A friend just tore down an EAC Merc .090 over adj lifters." CWC" marked between cam lobes about .336 lift. Cam and lifters look like new BUT somebody told him CWC cams are no good, he should throw it away!!! Any comment please??? Thanks Art
 
CWC was marked on my cam along with an Isky 77b, which was a regrind. I am sure this is an original mfg for Ford / Merc cam that I have
 
CWC was the foundry that cast the camshafts for Ford for many years. They were located in Muskegon, Michigan. This info was passed on to me by my father many years ago. Perhaps someone from Muskegon could fill in the blanks.
