cutout diode

anyone install a diode in a cutout?Synders has directions on how to but I need a video.Cant find anything on utube. TIA

Buy the nurex diode cutout. It has a built in heat sink which is needed to draw the heat out.

I took the relay core out of a original and drilled a hole in the steel frame and pressed in a first generation delco alternator diode— that I found in a junk pile behind a gas station— 50 years ago— has survived a 12-14 amp rate without a problem
