On my 31 Model A I have the extended spring perch studs with a lower shock mount.
Does anyone have a cut-away view of the hardware for this bottom shock mount? I have a 5/8" nut, but is there supposed to be a washer somewhere?
It looks like there is a keyway also.
No washer the proper nut (one side convex) fits in the concave recess of the shock mount. These shock mounts are aftermarket and of poor design, allowing them to shift under load. A key was added to the perch bolt and the shock mount to prevent this shift.
