Did Ford ever offer a "CUSTOMLINE VICTORIA" ?This would be a victoria "pillarless" model with customline trim.
LeBaron Bonney shows one on the front of one of their catalogues. Was this a Ford build or a custom job ?
Thanks in advance...John in CT

Ford Build here is one for sale:http://www.collectorcarads.com/Ford-Customline/41347 A member of the 1952-59 Ford Group on the HAMB owns one also. Here is info from 1952:http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...a=X&ei=avY7UujgPIWBiALhiIDgCQ&ved=0CEkQ9QEwBQ

The Customline was the mid-model from 1952 through 1956. 1956 was the only year they built a two door hardtop Customline Victoria. They built about 33,000 Customline Victoria's in 1956.
The 1952 pictured by JeffB2 is a Crestline Victoria (top model) and not a Customline. Hope this helps you out. :)

Thanks for the info on the customline Victoria....it will be my next car....John in CT

I always kind of wanted one too. I passed up a chance years ago at a swap meet to buy one, but it was too far gone and too much work for me.
Typical Michigan car. Sal

Here is one that I almost had to give away because of all the rust. It is also the one that I should have kept. The next owner put the body on a Chevy S-10 chassis. :(

2 door 1956 Customline Victorias are body style 64D. 2 door Fairlane Victorias are body style 64C. I think the Crown Vics are 64A.

The guys are right - only in 1956. I bought one from a guy in my high school class in 1962 or 63 - it wasn't cheap either, I paid $35 bucks for it ! I drove it on hwy 45 between Milwaukee and Menominee Falls in Wisconsin, to see my girl friend on Saturday nite- 100 miles an hour on the way home. We were all nuts then, remember ?

Wow, you got a bargain! I think I paid $75 for mine in '68. Yeah, we sure were young & foolish back then.
