crush washer

Try to find a copper crush washer for the oil pan drain plug. does anyone know where to find one. I checked e-bay and the sizes they show are just confusing. Thanks for any help. It's on a 53' 239.

On my 49 that has 7/8" threaded oil drain plug I've been buying plug and gasket from the Model A suppliers. Early 1928 drain plug part number A-6730-AR.

Snyder's Model A Parts show that their Spark Plug Gasket Set A-12410 will also fit. I have not tried this.

If you have a piece of copper sheet metal you can make your own.
First make the hole, then cut out the circumference. Then anneal the copper.

Harbor Freight sells an assortment for 6 or 7 dollars.

Note: HF set probably too small - McMaster has most any size needed.
