Crossfire flathead fact or fiction?

Yesterday at my car club meeting one of the more experienced flathead guys said that he saw a flathead that was setup to run crossfire with two cylinders hitting at the same time. Modified cam and distributor. I never heard of this. Anyone else know of this ?

They do exist. I have such a setup for a V8-60.
