Crankshaft dowels question....

Hey guys I have a quick qun :

i. Are the A engine/banger crankshaft - flywheel dowels the same as Flathead V8 ones? (Part # 6387)

I have sneaking suspicion that they are the same !!

Can anyone confirm ?

As per the 1928-37 Ford chassis parts list p/n B-6387 dowels are the same from 1928 up.

I put a Scat crank in an engine that I was building. I pressed some dowel pins out of an old used FH crank and then pressed them into the Scat. Worked for me, but I'm sure you can order new dowel pins from many of the old Ford parts suppliers.
