Do a search for 'Craigslist search engine'. Several sites are available.

Craigslist was set up (and meant to be) to be a source for local buying and sellers.

You can even include eBay results in your search. Best craig's search engine I've found when looking for a specific part not in my immediate area.

Use Onecraigs.com http://www.onecraigs.com/ you can search nation wide.

Many of the craigslist larger searches don't bring everything up-fact.

Ihate to ask the obvious question, but have you posted a want-ad here on Fordbarn? Seems the best place to find a hard-to-find part.

If you have access to an iPad or iPhone, Craigslist has an app that allows you to add a number of cities to the search.

I use searchtempest.com by far the best for me...I have bought items all over the country and had them shipped back to Mass.
