Does anyone know if this is anything to be concerned about. It will be heading in for further inspection.

It just showed up on my computer as well. The crack between the bolt hole and the water passage shouldn't be an issue. The one traveling up from the bolt hole should be drilled at the end as a minimum. Pinning it would be better. There are several posters on the Barn that are much more knowledgeable than me on cracks and repairs. Might check with your machinist and see what his experience/capabilities is/are.

You know Russ? I think I agree with you. It looks like it's been there forever and is quite stable; doing anything might upset the equilibrium.

It depends on how much you are willing to gamble. If it fails, it will be EXPENSIVE.
It is an easy cheap fix to pin it.

Once a crack gets started, it rarely quits growing. A few times getting hotter than it should, which we all know can happen on flatheads, may spread the crack into an exhaust valve pocket. It will be a lot harder to fix then.
