Cowl Vent

Not familiar with model T's but a friend has one that has a cowl vent cut in it but no vent. Did any of the model T's come with cowl vents? If so are there any after market vents available?

The 26 and 27's had a cowl vent door, but it was for the gas filler. There was no vent in the body. You probably need to find an original in a flea mkt. I don't believe they are being reproduced. You could try calling Lang's, he has a large supply of original used parts.

'24 and '25 closed cars had a vent in the cowl with no gas tank under it. The vent cover has a long handle that lives behind the dash board.

Car is a 1926 coupe. Really rough, lots missing.

I'm no expert but I believe the gas tank mounted under the cowl. So you need the filler door

There also was a weatherstrip that fits the lip under the door.
