Looking for a good rot free cowl top section or possibly complete cowl for my 1940 Sedan Delivery. I think this is common to all passenger car bodies. Details and photos would be appreciated to guido36@att.net.

Thanks fellas

BTT - anybody? Or do I start fixing the perforated piece I have? Surely somebody must have a cowl top or cowl from a 1940 passenger car? My vent is good - its the surround sheet metal that needs replacing. Any help or leads appreciated. Dennis carpenter do not have the replacement, nor do they know if or when they will get them in, they do not have a number or contact information for their supplier and if I place an order on their website, they will cancel it - so they tell me....:confused::confused:

Now with pix of Mondo Bondo! There is some pretty gnarly welding too.

I need the sheetmetal area surrounding the cowl vent opening including the drip channel - 1"-2" of sheet metal would be good - ideally from the base of the windshield opening to the back of the hood. My vent door and mechanism are good.

Thanks to those who have already PM'd me....
