cowl lamp inside cowl brackets

Hello all
Trying to add cowl lamps to 29 standard phaeton, got the correct brackets but they dont easily fit are the inside cowl panel measurements the same on 29 and 30 31??.
Wanting for turn signals, holes in brackets are 1/2" out compared to tank clamp holes .
Appreciate any suggestions

Hello, with the difference between the 1928 29 to the 1930 31 I would think dimension would not be the same, I know on 30-31 the inner brace is punched for the cowl lights, hopefully some one with a 1929 will respond.
 
The kits have the inner cowl brackets which use the tank clamps to secure them. The clamps have to be spread open a bit to work.
 
Thanks for the info guys, I’m guessing I have to bend the one end in order to fit
Just have to make sure the holes in the cowl for light mounting will be in the right place!

ezloader - Had YOU consider the LED directionals that go between the bumper bars? I feel they are very bright and can be seen better vs the Cowl light ones being BEHIND the Headlight ! My 1 1/2 cents worth !
