Bassman, I noticed that the carb linkeage is connected differently on the front carb from the rear carb. It looks like the front carb wont open as far as the rear carb. Am I missing something?

Back to front Chris. It's a progressive linkage, the front carb opens normally and the rear carb starts opening when the front one is 65% open. The rear one then achieves full open by the time the front one does. So drive normally on one carb and have two when ya nail it! :cool:
The regular throttle linkage is on the other side and runs to the front carb.

Bassman;
I guess I have never seen a progressive linkeage on a dual setup. You have a nice looking engine. I was in Napier last Spring and enjoyed New Zealand. We were traveling on a cruise ship and they took us to a sheep farm in Napier. It sure was interesting.

Nice looking motor there. I bet thats a fun car to drive. Can you school me on the weiand heads a bit? I've seen the intake before but not the heads. I guess I answered my question about their rarity.
