coupe rear fender mistery

Today I got my new wheels for my 38 standard coupe. drivers rear looks great fit dead on in center of opening. passenger wheel is not in center of opening but about an inch too far back. After much measuring the chassis and rear end is right but, passenger fender is slightly different than drivers. A little less crown as it comes back and mabye front part behind running board is narrower. Any thoughts or ideas please Jim

1937 deluxe are similar to 38 standard. Maybe it has one slightly different due to a past repair part from the salvage yard.

37 and 38 coupe rear fenders are not even close to being similar,

Could have been altered from a '38 deluxe/'39 all rear fender.

I was wondering if 37 was simular or would even bolt up. This fender bolted on ok except the sloted holes had to slid oposite of the drivers .

How about posting pics of what you have .Back end of a 37 fender is totally different than a 38.
