coupe quarter patch panels...who has them

kelley's restoration

Well-known member
been waiting on the behind the door patch panels for my coupe for over 2 months.
called snyders to investigate and they are still out of stock with no eta
is it a gas light part that is distributed to everyone or is there another supplier
i will not buy anything from Howell again, but judging from the wait that i have already had i almost bet these panels are made by them
anyone have a set on the shelf i can buy. i want to install these and get my body looking better
thanks
tom

It is another supplier who just purchased the company are based on my conversations, a bit overwhelmed at the moment. Steve is sincere in his and his partners endeavors however they have a ways to go before they get the 'pipeline' filled again. In the interim, you honestly may just need to fabricate them yourself in-house unless you have some time.

so you are saying i should have bert's cut a panel of of a good quarter to send it to me to repair my panel?
something tells me that he won't do that
i sure wouldn't

i just saw that brookville sells them, but i thought they were only making roadster parts?
anyone use the brookville patch

If I were you, depending on how bad the rust out is, make your own from 20 gauge steel. It isn't that hard unless you have a real big hole. There is no bead at the bottom to worry about. The bottom just crimps around the outer subrail side. Just my opinion.
