The counterweights on these cranks, whose counterweights are they? How were they installed? Do you know anything about their linage?

The weights where designed and cut from tungsten steal by a friend about twenty years ago. He had a professional welder do several cranks he had collected. We ran five engines with no complications. He passed away from a stroke three years ago, and had a 1930 coupe partially restored . His wife called us last year to see if we were interested in the car to buy. Only catch was she wanted the car and Lloyds 40 year parts collection to go in one package deal. These cranks have not been checked for straight or reground as he had them in storage until he needed them. Many of them pulled 2or 3 thou from the wielding process. He not only did the crankshafts but built his own Babbitt and line boring jigs. We also balanced our own rods and pistons. We only ran what many would refer to as a touring motor,60-70 mph was quite easy for 4-5 hour run with stock trans no over drive. These will not make a racing motor out of your four banger but will run much smoother and help to keep the babbitt bearings from pounding out. I will take a better picture and post it ASAP. Sorry for being so long winded.
