Correct throttle linkage set up for 55 Ford?

I am trying to determine the correct throttle linkage parts for my 55 Ford wagon with 272 V8 and Standard Transmission (O.D.)
The 49/59 Ford parts Manual shows an exploded illustration , but it does not indicate Standard Trans and/or automatic trans. It shows ALL the pieces that would be there for BOTH standard and Auto trans. It does not indicate the difference.
Maybe somebody can help me sort this out as I don't have a known correct set up for the 272 with standard trans .
The easiest would be a picture or two of someone that has a 55 with standard trans. Or if someone has more detailed parts manual illustration of the set up showing ONLY MANUAL TRANS application.
I can get more detailed if you want more description.
Thanks in advance for any help on this.

When you log in to this site, you will see a RED notifications under your name. Pick the messages and you will see a message from me in your inbox. I have the complete original linkage setup for Y-block with manual trans, everything from gas pedal to carburetor including original nuts and bolts. Only thing you need is return spring you can get from repro parts suppliers or local hardware store.
My message includes a photo of the larger components, but everything is included in the kit except the spring.

could someone please post a picture of the correct 1955 Ford 272 with standard transmission throttle linkage ? That would really help . And thanks in advance. Just a picture of the engine compartment , maybe with the air cleaner removed to show this linkage on the firewall and onto the manifold up to the carb.

p.s. if you have trouble posting pictures on this message system , just email direct to me at smjfritz@charter.net or text to 608-738-1861.

I don't have a picture, but from what I remember on a two bbl, the linkage on the firewall was connected to linkage bolted to the back of the intake manifold and ran to the right (passenger) side of the carb. An additional piece of linkage ran from this bracket to the carb.

i have just these pics....

Steve, it looks like everyone's cameras are broken or they don't want to take any pictures. I wish I could help. but only familiar with the 4 barrel bellcrank linkage.
I found this EBAY auction to use for pictures. I know in says it's for an automatic trans, but may also work. Just igore the one side that is for the trans downshift rod.

Sal.....thanks for the reply. DAVEs55Sedan has sent me some linkage and I will be getting it next week. So I'm sure his stuff will be spot on and I will be able to get it installed ok.
I've had a little bump in the road health wise the past few weeks. I'll give you a call this afternoon or tonight and catch you up. Talk to you soon!

I'd send pictures but my '55 isn't a wagon, or a 2 bbl.
It also has an auto trans and was converted to '57 style linkage by a prev owner.

Sorry you folks were not privy to this info, since I happened to mention it in one of the private messages I sent to Steve, but I looked far and wide on the internet for many different ways we might be able to get an illustration or photo of engine that has the 2-bbl manual trans linkage installation. No luck. Maybe a slim chance on pinterest, but you need to be a member to view photos. I also did not bother looking thru 100's of youtube videos, where one might find someone showing off his pre '57 2-bbl, manual trans Y-block. Steves wagon already has the Fordomatic linkage, so that is no help. I looked in oldcarmanualproject too and no luck.
Seems odd that of all these '54/55/56 Ford owners here, no one has a car with Y-block, original 2-bbl and manual trans that they could take a photo of.
