What type plating processes are period-correct for 53 F100 brake components? Any recommendations on companies doing the service today?

Is it a zinc based plating or something else?

Cadmium plating was very popular at Ford in the '50's. Unfortunately, the EPA has driven almost all platers today out of the cad plating business.

Thanks carguybill. That explains why I wasn't having much luck finding platers locally.
