Searching for PCV doesn't work but "crankcase ventilation" does.

The subject matter is POSITIVE Crankcase Ventilation, NOT [generalized] crankcase ventilation
Perhaps you would help the OP out by uploading your instillation.

The one thing I did learn was how I sourced the vacuum. My Edmonds 4bbl manifold is a basic dual plane that when using it’s [provided] vacuum port I was only using ½ the motor.
Had loads of tuning issues until I finally machined a 1” aluminum spacer with a port drilled below both secondaries. I drilled a corresponding port below the primaries for distributor vacuum advance signal. Hope my problems give you some food for thought.

I installed a PCV system on my 8ba using a PCV valve from a Buick 231 CI engine. I was told to use a valve from a similar displacement engine hence the Buick valve. I've got some numbers of what I used for the grommet and valve somewhere in my notes if interested.

Exactly! And be aware, some of those old SW heater under carb vacuum plates only sourced vacuum from one side; be sure to check if it is set up to pull from both intake planes.
