"Correct original" 35-36 rumble ?

I see lots of rumble seat hinges and parts for 35-36 and they claim to be original Henry ford. Some look like they have a hex head bolt that goes through the main bracket that goes through the hinge and I've seen others that are a shaft and just flush with the end of the hinge ( this is next to seat cushion ). Which is correct?

Does anyone have pictures of an "original" setup?

Also, do 32-33-34 hinges bolt to 35-36 lids and work? I've seen a set that had the 32 handles on the inside.??

Any clarification on this would be greatly appreciated. As always, thanks for your time, input and knowledge.

I believe these photos were posted before and I believe they are original hinges.

The triangular part of the hinge is held to the deck lid with countersunk head screws, that screw into the deck lid. The hinge part that is on the body is held to the support bracket with two hex head bolts, locks and nuts. The round pin between both is held in place by a hex head bolt, lockwasher and nut.

Thanks for the replies. As I see in the pictures the shaft is flush with the hinge on the end. There is no bolt head on this as you described?? Am I seeing this wrong?

Thx. Any other pics??

The bolt head is there, The bolt runs through the side of the hinge rod so when installed it is on the top of the open deck lid triangular hinge. Save the photo in your pictures and then once there you can blow up the picture to see details. The bolt is 1/4 " with a thick head

Terry, I see the hex bolt 1/4"? That goes through the shaft and hinge. I was referring to the end of the shaft. In the previous two pics it appears to be flush. I will try to attach a pic of one with a bolt through the bracket/hinge. This is what my original inquiry was about. Let me know your thoughts. Thank ya sir!!

The large hex bolt shown in your photo serving as a hinge pin is not original. That hinge pin is un-threaded and has no head.

Thanks guys. I appreciate your help. That's the info I was looking for.

It's great to see a website dedicated to these special automobiles and have the help from gentleman like yourselves to educate us newbies!!

Thanks Ford Barn!

I notice in one photo by Gary Tosil that what looks like an interior latch for the rumble lid? Can someone post a better photo of that latch? I guess it's incase the lid gets closed while someone is inside.
