correct 1933/1934 exhaust systems

Following up on my previous post of November 6, I spoke to Mike McKennett today regarding a possible production run of concourse correct 1933/1934 exhaust systems to include 40-5267 (tube-muffler inlet cross assembly), 40-5230(muffler assembly), 40-5255 (long pipe), and 40-5254 (short pipe, tail pipe). Other than brackets and clamps, this is the complete exhaust system from the exhaust manifolds back.

It will require a minimum order of 25 systems as listed above and an early cost estimate could be in the +/- $1500 range. If anyone has a need for a complete system, please email me with your no commitment interest and suggestions at w.keelyjr@verizon.net. Thank you

for that price i will sell you my set with brackets and nos muffler
Hello 34 Ford,

I have sent you a PM in addition to the information below.

The reason for the post for '34 exhaust systems, I am in need. I am absolutely not interested in getting into a parts distribution operation, but if it's the only way to get a concourse correct system, I was willing to guide the effort. The price in my posting is a estimate from Mike McKennett who thought that $1000 was the low end and $2000 was top end. I split the difference for my post at $1500 guesstimate. A lot of money, but that is what he needs to make the project worthwhile for him. My email; w.keelyjr@verizon.net
Thanks,

Walt,

I wish you well. Mike's previous efforts with exhaust system reproductions are equal to (actually better than) NOS originals with no kinks or distortions (all mandrel bends) and they are made using copies of Ford's engineering drawings. Sure they're expensive, but it's a classic case of getting what you pay for.

A number of us are hoping that he will consider once again offering the '32 version as well.

David
