How dificult is it to convert back from Rumble seat to Trunk?
Can I just turn the Decklid?
Thanks Joop

Just to get you started. change the hinges. move the handle weld up the old hole. drill a new one. change the curved inner panel . that will keep you busy for a few days

Yes, not too difficult. I have just done it to my coupe. You will see it in the fall.
Make sure to get the "good hinges" at Arizona Model A.

You also need to change the curved rear pannel to one for a trunk. I did the oposite when I change my car from a trunk to a rumble. The Les Andrews Model A mechanic Vol II has everything including the parts list. If you can, borrow or buy a copy. Not a hard job at all though.

Are these inner panels 1928-29? They don't line up with any holes on a 30-31 subrail crossmember. not one has dimples the other doesn't

i changed my rumble to a trunk. I used the repo panel that you use in place of the rumble cruved panel. I have to tweak the panel some to make it fit. I had bought the usa made trunk hinges and didn't fit worth a darn. the holes were drilled and tapped about 1/8 inch off. I had to find a stock pair of hinges. check your rumble lid and the upper part of where the hinges go on the opening of the trunk as some have them there and then you only need the special hinge bolt
