Convertible top!

Recently purchased a 47 convertible (Thanks Kelly) and like the look of the 41 top. Has anyone put a 41 top on a 42-48 , is the door glass different? or what is the support differences for the irons??

I am sure I will have more questions later as I dig into it!!

The '41 Ford Convertible has no quarter windows. You I have seen one '46 Convertible that has a '41 style top on it (with no quarter windows however, I think the entire rear section was from a '41, with the quarter sections modified to cover the running boards (like the '46 - '48). What you are asking, can be done but it would have to be a custom fit top.

Yea , That's the Idea is to delete the rear quarter windows, I just was hoping that someone had done it and can tell me how well the 41 top works {if at all} with the 47 irons and what needs to be reworked or added short of finding a 41 back half and irons?? the windshield is chopped 2in anyway so I have a bit of adjusting to do anyway.
