What should the microfarad reading be for a good condenser (V8- 289, 1970)?

I have one that measures 2.6, and acts like a fuel restriction.

I think I found my answer:

FORD/MERC CONDENSER CAPACITANCE: Stock Ford condensers for ‘32-’41 are rated at 0.33-0.36 mfd (microfarads). For ‘42-’48 they’re 0.25-0.32 mfd. For ‘49-’53 they’re 0.21-0.25 mfd. (For Mallory condensers, see earlier

From: flatheadv8.org

I am running V8 points and condenser in my Model A, 40 hp, flathead 4 cylinder 1930.

Are you sure that's not .26? the book says 0.21 -0.25 microfarads range.

sorry, I see you found your answer already
