Hello everyone....
I am currently working on complete wiring harness replacement for a 1934 5 Window Coupe with a Columbia Overdrive and have a problem with the cable/wiring of the Columbia Overdrive.
I think I have a later version of the over drive with an electric switch to change the gearing of the overdrive system vice a vacuum shift valve. There is still a vacuum line from the carburetor to the Axle and to the Speedometer to shift the speedo ratio.
So here is the problem:
I have four wires from the control switch mounted on the dash. Two go to the rear axle shifter which is self explanary. One wire goes to power which is easy. The forth wire ends in a termanal and goes nowhere.
I know there is a clutch "disengaged" switch installed and I think it goes to the forth wire on the select switch. yes/no?
If the wire does does the "clutch disengaged" switch is it wired to ground or wired to power?
Thank in advance!
