Colored rims.

What was the date factory colored rims first appeared. Was it late in 30 or sometime in 31?
What colors would have been available?
How were they painted? Would they have been dipped as I suspect all the black rims were?

For Australian A's, coloured wheels were std on 8 colour schemes from 1928, I don't know if this extended to RHD Kiwi A's.

To the best of our knowledge, the dealer offered the colored rims and pinstriping as an option.

With some model specific exceptions, JS says colored wheels were a factory option starting June 1930. Wheels were first dipped black, then painted.
