Coil and Condenser installation help

I totally agree on that the coil has to be wired in the correct way.
Just trying to explain what is going on and why it needs to be that way.

Well will just have to disagree, but it all ends up the same.

On a can coil you just have to switch the input/output wires to the right +/- to dizzy (primary/secondary coils). Right?

not sure how you do this on a helmet coil.
