Clutch Shaft

Does anyone know if the clutch shaft for the 1940-1948 cars is the same as the one used in the later 1948-1952 F1 trucks? The shaft in question is part number 7503 in the picture below. If it is the same then wouldn't the mount pieces that go into that shaft which attaches to the frame be the same between the cars and later F1 trucks?

Reason I ask is because I'm looking for the shaft and mount pieces to work with a set of F1 truck pedals. I picked up a 40 Ford transmission last weekend that had the shaft on it but no mount pieces and thought maybe they are the same but wasn't sure.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The shaft (01A-7510) is the same. The piece that bolts to the frame (7507) is different between the cars and the pickup trucks. I may have both types. I think the 7503 equalizer shaft may be the same but have to confirm that.

Thanks Mac. I have a guy who claims to have the mount that goes to the frame for the F1 pickup but doesn't have the shaft. If they're the same then I would be in business.

Let me know what you find out.

The Ford Truck Chassis Parts Catalog lists equalizer shaft part number 7RT-7503 from 48 to 52 for F1 thru F6 standard cab pick ups & trucks. I don't know what the difference is with the passenger cars but it may just be length. The frame bracket is listed as P/N 01Y-7507 for 48-52 F1, F2, & F3. This part was also used from 40 thru 47 on 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, & 1 ton pick ups.

The ending numbers match from cars to trucks it seems. I'm wondering if the only difference was the 01A, 7RT, 01Y being based on the models the part went into such as the car or trucks?

Does anyone have a F1 shaft to measure? I can measure my 40 Ford shaft and post what I come up with tomorrow.
