Clutch rebuild

I see that Vintage, Mac, C&G, etc all offer clutch rebuliding/exchange for 34 Ford. Is anyone better than the other? Is Mac fo rexample just subing it out? Who is the best?
Also any new space age clutch material out there that will last forever...versus the oldstuff. Trying to avoid a clutch rebuild for the rest of my life.

Thanks

If you don't have a reputable rebuilder near your location, you might try Fort Wayne Clutch. Nothing new that lasts forever that I am aware of.

I guess it depends how old you are if it will last the rest of your life.Serriously Fort Wayne clutch is a first class outfit.

Too bad Research doesn't seem to want us to know where he is, but asks a question that could be better answered with that knowledge. I like C&G but wouldn't send them my clutch work because there so many more local shops that could do such a low tech task just as well and would be more accountable because of knowing who really did the work. There is a guy out in Riverside that comes to all the local swaps and has been a great help to me in cases where what I have may not be the best choice for my Flathead and has the remedy in stock. I bought an 8BA flywheel at the Fathers Daly meet in Pomona where I needed a 59A for a 10" plate. No problem for Mario(Oh there I go giving personal information, perhaps for the anominous Research) who solved my mistake and had my parts at the next meet. Support your local guys. Good Luck: Fred A

the shop over here is called Bay Shore Friction, they do brakes and clutches and what ever else on big rigs.
but they also rebuild brake shoes and arch them to drums, rebuild clutches on anything that has a clutch, or surface your flywheel.
im pretty sure you can find a shop that dose this work on big rigs in your area to get the same work done, and save on the big shipping $$$$$$$$
