Clutch question.

Further to my thread "I'm stumped", I managed to unbolt the clutch cover by removing the flywheel cover, and removed the trans. I discovered the clutch is an 11", which I dont want to keep as it's going in a light AV8. The plate is frozen on the input shaft at present, but my question is.... will I need to change out the flywheel to install a 9" clutch? ie: do all clutch covers have the same bolt pattern?

The clutch cover bolt patterns are different for 9" and 11" clutches, but I don't see any reason why a competent machine shop couldn't drill the extra set of holes for the smaller cover.
