Clutch pressure plate tighting sequence ?

I keep going around tightening the bolts a couple turns each until they are all tight. I don't use a torque wrench but make them fairly tight, but not near enough to snap the bolts, like I've seen a few done by some strong arm when I remove the pressure plates.

Put a drop or two of Loc-tite on each fastener. (...just a drop or two, --not saturated!) Then tighten each bolt finger tight, ( the pressure plate will not be seated against the flywheel) and then use a socket & ratchet to turn each bolt one half turn doing this operation in a complete circle until all bolts are snugged and the PP is seated against the flywheel. Then tighten one-half turn after they are seated and it should be tight enough.

In answer to your question, YES, .. Go from one side to the other, with only a few turns on each bolt @ a time & do NOT bring them all tight until all are bottomed out..
