Clutch Pedal Adjusting Rod

I'm building a hot rod from my '35 tudor sedan. It's got a flathead and '37 ****** and the pedal assembly has been changed out to allow for juice brakes. I don't know what the pedals came out of. My problem is with the clutch pedal adjusting rod. The one I have has a bend in it to make it line up with the arm on the transmission but it's too short to make the clutch operate correctly. I tried modifying it to extend it but that's not working out so well. I bought a replacement from Macs but it's straight and won't line up with the ******. Any idea where I can find one with the bend in it? Other suggestions?

Have you thought of the possibility of bending the lever on the trans? I know that '32 is different (LARGE offset) from '33-34 which are most likely different from '35, etc, etc. It should be no problem to get the lever red hot with a torch where you want to bend it to get the offset and then do the same up at the tip to get the "eye" end parallel to the "base."
PS: How were the threads on your reproduction adjusting rod from Mac's?

Some times they use 39 pedals for the mc.The 39 has a very short throw for the clutch at pedal. The 39 horz clutch shaft lever should be shorter then some earlier ones.It is also bent to line up better and is shorter for more throw to release clutch.Lever should be about 3"to 3 1/2 long. The shorter the lever the more throw at horz lever.

And here I thought I had a unique problem. Thanks all for the responses particularly Tom's with the link to the other thread.

When I did my 32 (Iknow you said 35) years ago went to junk yard (it was a 39 ******) and got the arm assy from a 40 I believe. One end mounted to frame and other to the ****** throwout brg shaft, and then rigged up a brkt that mounted to top of ****** for a slave cyl(hyd clutch). The end that mounted to frame (made a small bkt to mount it) had a split brass bushing on that end, there was a grease fitting on the shaft also. This may or may not help you.
