HELP PLEASE.

PROJECT: 1940 FORD 1/2 TON PU. NEED HELP SORTING CLUTCH LINKAGE. ASSEMBLY I'V COMPLETED SO FAR. REMOVED PART # 7510 SHAFT AND 7515 FORK. INSTALLED 2 BUSHING # 7508. REINSTALLED 7510 AND 7515 USING GRADE 8 BOLT. HERES THE PROBLEM. PART # 7521 ROD AND 7532 CLEVIS WILL NOT FIT BETWEEN # 7520 PEDAL AND 7503 CLUTCH RELEASE EQUALIZER. THEY LINE UP CORRECTLY BUT 7521 / 7532 ARE TOO LONG. WHEN 7521 IS SCREWED INTO 7532 IT HITS THE PIVOT PIN. NOW MY QUESTION IS CAN 7515 FORK BE CLOCKED WRONG ON 7510 SHAFT. IS IT POSSIBLE I ASSEMBLED 180 DEG OFF. ON THE FORD SCHEMATIC NOTE THE POSITION OF 7503 WHERE IT ATTACHES TO 7510 SHAFT. THE FORD SCHEMATIC SHOWS THE FLAT OF 7510 HORIZONTAL. MY 7510 IS MORE LIKE 45 DEG. TRIED TO ATTACHED THE FORD CLUTCH SCHEMATIC BUT NO GO.

You can't clock it wrong as the 7510 fork holes line up the same as the7510 external tab. But you can get the fork pointing the wrong way. The curved side of the fork should push on the throw out bearing retainer tabs.

This exploded ire might help explain what’s what. I’m curious to know the orientation as well as I started a similar thread.
