Clutch disc 57 Ford

Thanks everyone.
Going to try to find a 312 flywheel that takes an 11" pressure plate as mine will only accept a 10.5. Had bought a 3 speed o/d replacement Trans, but the input shaft has a 23 spline.
Any ideas where to find a new or used flywheel ? Summit is trying to locate one, but no luck yet.
 
Just curious, is this clutch and flywheel going to be used in a heavy '57 vehicle, that you
would want a steel flywheel, or is it a lighter vehicle that you might want alum flywheel ?

Try the TBird parts guys that also sell used parts. All TBirds (std shift) used 11 inch clutches.

To my knowledge all 312's were 11" as well as pick-up trucks with 292's. As far as a daily driver I don't think you would see much difference between a 10.5" or 11" clutch as long as it is a quality brand and not a Chinese rebuilt. I have had good luck with McLeod clutches myself. Basically you will get what you pay for.
