clutch and gear problems

Thanks for every ones help. I just got the clutch plate to free up today. Starting the car in gear going up the hill did the trick. Popped out pretty easily. Thanks again, Karl

Over the years I had to unstick the clutch in my 49 chevy, what I did was with the engine off , clutch in trans in reverse, emergency brake on, hit starter button,clutch popped loose. The last time I was going to try this again, but after idling for about twenty minutes it freed up on its own

You also have to inspect the clutch release arm. They can break if the car has been idle for some time.
