Has anyone dealt with a buisness, I believe back east , called Classic Automotive. I have been looking at ordering a 35 Ford ws frame from them but just have this "strange feeling" after emails back and forth . With all the scams and ripoffs happening nowdays you need to be careful . Thanks !
 
There are a number of Business's with the name of "Classic Automotive".
You may have to include their address, to get some correct information
about the correct company, from members here...;)

You might try Classis Auto Parts in OK. I just dealt with them form far away and they came thru with flying colors. They are the only vendor that have the 35-36 SS running board trim in stock ($99)plus the mounting hardware($10).The sales person physically went into the warehouse to confirm they had them .

The best way to tell if it's a scam is to tell them you or a friend would like to come by and see the product in person. I had a good friend say this in an Email concerning the purchase of a GTO and the seller pulled his ad and was never heard from after that. Tim
 
Deuce Lover, I tried a place in OK City, Classic Auto but did not see a listing for the trim.. Do you have a link and maybe a part number? Thanks
 
48-16462-S. You need to call them,much faster maybe.You will need the universal mounting hdwe also.Sorry I do not have that handy.
